This virtual class is scheduled from 8:30am - 4:30pm and geared for first time homebuyers who will be purchasing within one year, are currently in escrow or looking to understand the homebuying process.This HUD Approved Class is $25 per person. Key information on budgeting, credit, lending, real estate process, title, insurance and down payment assistance are covered. A HUD Homebuyer Certificate is provided upon completion and verification of the attendee profile and class intake. All fields in the profile must be complete prior to the scheduled class to receive the course link and certificate. This 1.5 hour entry level webinar is designed to prepare homebuyers with the fundamentals of homeownership and provide an overview of down payment assistance. Budgeting, credit, lending, and home buying related topics will be presented. This class will highlight down payment assistance along with community lending products. The link to be emailed to you 24-hours prior to the scheduled class, one registration per person. This is a virtual workshop with community lending partners providing an overview of down payment assistance programs aimed at increasing homeownership within our Black communities. An introduction to homebuying 101 will be presented. Registration is required.
